ABOUT WOLVERINE ROBOTICS

Wolverine Robotics was created in 2002 at Bellevue High School and since then, we have participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) every year. This year we have over 50 students and we have had a successful start to our 2014-2015 season. We focus on teaching technical skills along with building robots for the FRC competition. In the pre-season, we separated the team into different groups to focus on different topics. Our team is divided into a three sub-teams: Build Team, Programming Team, and Public Relations Team. The Build team focuses on building the robot, strategizing for the game, and practicing for the competition. The programming team is the brain of the robot, commanding it in both the autonomous and tele-operated sections of the game. And, the Public Relations team helps fund the team through donation requests and grants. By dividing our team into sub-teams, we can work efficiently and effectively throughout the year and especially during the build season.
